Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026-03-18

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by SkinVital Clinic (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a consultation, treatment, course, prescription-related service, online purchase, or by using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Company number: 15437378

2. Scope of Services

SkinVital Clinic provides aesthetic, regenerative, skin, wellness, and related services, including but not limited to consultations, injectable treatments, skin treatments, hair restoration treatments, thread treatments, advanced facial procedures, skin lesion/skin tag treatments, prescription-related services, IV drips, blood tests, and selected specialist treatments.

All services are subject to practitioner assessment, suitability, availability, and clinical judgment.

3. Eligibility for Treatment

You must be at least 18 years old to receive treatment unless a treatment is specifically offered to minors and appropriate parental/guardian consent and clinical approval have been obtained.

We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity before consultation or treatment.

4. Consultations and Treatment Suitability

All aesthetic and medical treatments begin with a consultation. This is to assess your medical history, suitability, expectations, contraindications, and any relevant risks or limitations.

A consultation does not guarantee that treatment will be provided. We reserve the right to decline, postpone, or modify treatment where we believe that:

  • the treatment is not clinically appropriate,

  • it may not be safe,

  • your expectations are unrealistic,

  • further medical clearance is required,

  • a prescription-only product cannot be issued,

  • or proceeding would not be in your best interests.

Where appropriate, we may recommend an alternative treatment plan.

5. Medical Information and Client Responsibility

You must provide full, accurate, and up-to-date information regarding:

  • current and previous medical conditions,

  • allergies,

  • medications and supplements,

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding status,

  • history of cold sores, keloid scarring, autoimmune conditions, bleeding disorders, or skin disease,

  • previous aesthetic procedures,

  • and any other information relevant to safe treatment.

It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your health, medication, or circumstances before each appointment. We cannot be held responsible for complications arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld information.

6. Prescription-Only Treatments

Some treatments may involve prescription-only medicines. These can only be prescribed after an appropriate consultation and only if the prescriber considers the treatment suitable and safe.

A booking for a consultation or prescription-related appointment does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.

Where a prescription-only product has been ordered, prepared, or issued specifically for you, related fees or deposits may be non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Consent

Before treatment, you will be required to read and sign an appropriate consent form. By signing, you confirm that:

  • you understand the treatment being offered,

  • you have had the opportunity to ask questions,

  • you understand the risks, benefits, possible side effects, downtime, and limitations,

  • and you agree to proceed voluntarily.

If you do not sign the consent documentation, treatment will not go ahead.

8. Treatment Outcomes

All aesthetic and skin treatments are tailored to the individual. Results vary from person to person depending on anatomy, skin condition, age, lifestyle, healing response, hormones, aftercare compliance, and other factors.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, exact longevity, or a particular aesthetic result. Photographs, examples, and treatment descriptions are illustrative only.

Some treatments require multiple sessions and/or maintenance for best results.

9. Risks and Side Effects

As with all aesthetic, skin, and medical procedures, treatments carry risks. Depending on the treatment, these may include but are not limited to:

  • redness,

  • swelling,

  • bruising,

  • tenderness,

  • asymmetry,

  • infection,

  • allergic reaction,

  • pigmentation changes,

  • vascular complications,

  • delayed healing,

  • temporary discomfort,

  • unsatisfactory cosmetic outcome,

  • and, in rare cases, more serious complications.

A full explanation of relevant risks will be provided during consultation and consent.

10. Pre-Treatment and Aftercare

You agree to follow all pre-treatment and aftercare advice given by SkinVital Clinic. Failure to follow instructions may affect your results and increase the risk of adverse effects or complications.

We are not responsible for avoidable complications caused by failure to follow aftercare guidance.

11. Appointments and Booking

Appointments may be booked online, by phone, in person, or by another method offered by the clinic.

To secure some appointments, we may require a deposit or part payment in advance. Your booking is only confirmed once this has been received, where applicable.

Please ensure that you book the correct treatment or consultation type. If you are unsure, contact us before booking.

12. Deposits

Deposits are used to reserve appointment time, cover clinical preparation, and reduce missed appointments.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking:

  • deposits are transferable when sufficient notice is given,

  • deposits may be retained for late cancellations, no-shows, or missed consultations,

  • and deposits linked to prescription-only treatments or specially ordered items may be non-refundable.

You may want to set your clinic’s exact policy as follows:
Recommended option: “A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment without loss of deposit.”

13. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We ask that all appointment changes be made with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or if you fail to attend, we reserve the right to:

  • retain your deposit,

  • charge a cancellation fee,

  • deduct the session from a prepaid course,

  • or require full prepayment for future appointments.

If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but late arrival may result in reduced treatment time, rescheduling, or loss of deposit where the appointment can no longer proceed safely or fairly.

14. Courses, Packages, and Promotional Offers

Course treatments, treatment packages, seasonal offers, and promotional appointments must be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise required by law:

  • courses and packages are non-transferable,

  • they cannot be shared between clients,

  • they are not redeemable for cash,

  • and unused sessions outside the validity period may expire.

Promotional offers cannot usually be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

15. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP and may be changed at any time without notice. The applicable price will be the one confirmed at the time of booking or treatment.

Payment may be required in full:

  • at the time of booking,

  • before treatment,

  • or immediately after treatment,

depending on the service.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where payment has not been made.

16. Refund Policy

Consultations, appointment fees, deposits, and completed treatments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.

Because aesthetic and medical services involve professional time, clinical expertise, consumables, and products prepared or prescribed specifically for you, dissatisfaction alone does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

No refund will usually be given for:

  • completed treatments,

  • treatment courses already started,

  • prescribed products or prescription-only medicines,

  • specially ordered items,

  • or treatments where results vary due to normal biological response.

Where concerns arise, we encourage clients to contact the clinic promptly so that an appropriate review can be arranged.

17. Review Appointments and Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Where a treatment includes a follow-up review, this must be attended within the timeframe advised by the practitioner.

For anti-wrinkle treatments, any review or adjustment appointment must usually take place within the clinic’s stated review window.
Recommended wording: “Any review request must be made within 14 days of treatment, and where clinically appropriate, any adjustment appointment must take place within 14–21 days.”

Reviews outside this timeframe may be treated as a new appointment and charged accordingly.

A review appointment is not a guarantee of additional product or free corrective treatment; all decisions remain subject to clinical assessment.

18. Photographs

Clinical photographs may be taken before and after treatment for medical records, treatment planning, monitoring progress, and continuity of care.

Photographs will only be used for marketing, education, website, or social media purposes with your specific consent.

19. Complaints and Concerns

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment or experience, please contact us as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to review the matter appropriately.

Complaints should be submitted in writing to:
info@skinvitalclinic.co.uk

We will aim to investigate and respond within a reasonable time.

20. Adverse Reactions and Emergency Concerns

If you experience an unexpected reaction, side effect, or complication after treatment, you must contact the clinic promptly using the contact details provided.

If you believe you are experiencing a serious or urgent medical issue, you should seek immediate medical attention by contacting your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services as appropriate.

21. Vouchers and Gift Cards

Where vouchers or gift cards are offered:

  • they must be used before their expiry date,

  • they are non-refundable unless required by law,

  • they cannot be exchanged for cash,

  • and lost or expired vouchers may not be replaced.

We reserve the right to refuse use of promotional vouchers where misuse is suspected.

22. Retail Products and Online Purchases

Retail skincare and home-use products purchased from our website or clinic may be subject to separate shipping, returns, and consumer policies where applicable.

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened, used, or tampered products may not be eligible for return unless faulty or required by law.

If separate Shipping & Returns terms apply, those should be read together with these Terms.

23. Website Use

All content on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or a guarantee of treatment suitability or outcome.

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or reproduce its content for commercial use without permission.

24. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, text, treatment descriptions, graphics, logos, images, and materials remain the property of SkinVital Clinic or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.

25. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights you have under consumer law.

Subject to that, SkinVital Clinic shall not be liable for:

  • normal and explained treatment side effects,

  • individual variations in healing or results,

  • dissatisfaction where treatment was performed appropriately and with consent,

  • delays or cancellations caused by events outside our reasonable control,

  • or losses that are indirect, consequential, or not reasonably foreseeable.

26. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant UK data protection law.

By booking and receiving treatment, you agree that we may process your information for clinical, administrative, legal, and safety purposes.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website and will apply from the date shown at the top of this page.

28. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
