Description

A home-use depigmenting cream that completes the cosmelan® professional method. It continuously reduces existing marks of melanic origin and regulates melanin overproduction to help prevent them returning, while improving texture, tone and radiance.

Clients who have had the in-clinic cosmelan® treatment for melasma, sun spots and other stubborn pigmentation.

How to use
Use only as directed by your practitioner following your in-clinic cosmelan® treatment. After the peel, use morning and evening for six months with brightening foam, cosmelan® 2, melan recovery and mesoprotech® melan 130 pigment control (morning only). Add fast skin repair if very sensitive, or hydra-vital factor k if very dry. If used without an in-clinic peel, follow Jo's personalised routine and introduce products slowly, as they are strong.

Clinic tip
Daily SPF50+ and regular reviews with Jo are key to keeping pigmentation under control long term.

cosmelan® 2 is designed to complete the in-clinic cosmelan® treatment and should only be used under the guidance of your practitioner. Due to the new and improved formulation there may be differences in colour and texture. These do not affect the results.

Precautions

  • Do use with Mesoestetic support products ONLY
  • Do wash fingers before and after use
  • Do apply a pea sized amount ONLY
  • Do apply to the entire face and not just problem areas to prevent the pigmentation moving
  • Do use with a Mesoestetic SPF
  • Do follow the programme for 12 months
  • Do be aware of triggers to pigmentation, i.e. UVA, UVB, HEV, IR, Hormonal changes, Photo-sensitising Medication, Perfumes, Chemicals, Inflammation such as acne, wounds, Genetics

 Don’ts

  • Don’t use with any other branded products
  • Don’t use if Pregnant
  • Don’t use if allergic to Aspirin
  • Don’t use if skin is sensitized
  • Don’t just apply to problematic areas, it must be applied to the entire face to prevent the pigmentation from moving
  • Don’t use to treat Hypopigmentation
  • Don’t use if you have an auto-immune disorder
  • Don’t use with Retinol based products

FAQsWhat are the normal reactions? Normal reactions include: red, peeling/flaking, sensitive, and swollen skin.How will I know if I have the old or new Cosmelan?The new Cosmelan will have a holographic ‘authentic depigmenting method’ sticker in the top right hand corner of the box.NOTEONE day of unprotected skin (SPF) within a 9-month period can undo all the results achieved!!!
