The Obagi Nu-Derm® Fx® is specially designed to reduce the appearance of sun damage and hyperpigmentation, creating a more even skin tone.
This powerful cream contains 7% arbutin, a natural plant extract that inhibits tyrosinase activity, which in turn prevents the formation of future melanin, keeping skin fresh and of a more even tone. Vitamin C and E are antioxidants, and protect the skin from free radical damage, a known cause of pigmentation, irritation and signs of ageing. Vitamin C promotes collagen production, which firms and tightens the skin for a more youthful appearance. With regular use, the Obagi Nu-Derm® Fx® will brighten the skin, and improve the appearance of blotchy, discoloured skin. Acne scarring and pigmentation will be reduced, creating a more even and radiant skin tone.

The Science Behind the Formula

Obagi Blend Fx skin-brightening cream is formulated with 7% Arbutin and Lactic Acid, AHA, to exfoliate, clarify and brighten the skin. Blend Fx is step #4 in the Obagi Nu-Derm Fx System for:

Obagi Blend Fx uses the naturally occurring plant extract Arbutin to treat signs of hyperpigmentation. Arbutin 7% gently lightens your skin, reducing the appearance of sunspots, age spots, melasma, and dark patches of skin discolouration often caused by breakouts.

Obagi Blend Fx special formulation has been designed to mix with, and aid the absorption of Retinoids, including Obagi Retinol 1.0. This non-prescription cream works to improve the appearance of sun damage without causing irritation, and helps to build collagen to aid skin elasticity.

Obagi Blend Fx #5 is the fifth product within the Obagi Nu-Derm Fx System, and works alongside the products as part of your evening regime.
