How to use
Morning: apply Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum™ to clean skin, follow with moisturiser and a broad-spectrum SPF. Evening: apply a pea-sized amount of AlphaRet® Overnight Cream to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eyes and lips; start every other night and build up as tolerated. AlphaRet® contains an AHA, so use SPF daily and for a week after stopping, and patch test first. Contains a topical retinoid: if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy, speak to your doctor before use.
The science behind the formula
The kit contains 15ml Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum™, a comprehensive antioxidant serum, and 15ml AlphaRet® Overnight Cream, which combines a retinoid with an alpha hydroxy acid. Daily topical antioxidant use and a nightly retinoid together support visible improvement in the overall look of the skin.
Clinic tip
Pause AlphaRet® for around five to seven days before peels, microneedling, laser or waxing. Keep using Alto in the morning unless Jo advises otherwise.
