About acneic skin

Oily skin is characterised by a surface oily residue that may increase through the day, generally greater in thickness with large open pores. Acneic skin presents in different ways and levels of severity: open and closed comedones, or blackheads and whiteheads; papules and pustules, or small red lumps and large whiteheads; nodules or cysts, meaning large painful lumps; and scarring, either indented or pigmented.
